Electrical Design Engineer - 132kv/33kv/11kv Substations - Bury St Edmunds, England - �Excellent Day Rate - 12 Month Contract + Guaranteed Extensions - Outside IR35 - ASAP Start Date

Have you got experience with electrical design of 132kv/33kv/11kv substations? Are you looking to work as a contractor with security for the next 3/4 years in a stable location? If so, please read on...

Responsibilities:

• Oversee design services, utilizing internal and external resources effectively.


• Agree on safety, commercial, and operational targets with the contract team.


• Regularly monitor and review performance against agreed internal and external targets.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.


• Plan and manage workloads to meet customer requirements.


• Prepare project-level design programs and cost forecasts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering, utility, or DNO environment.


• Ideally a Chartered Engineer or possess relevant experience and management or professional qualifications.


• Understanding of management systems including ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001.


• Expertise in protection and control schemes on the 11kV to 132kV Distribution Network.


• Understanding of the CDM Regulations and the role of the Designer under these regulations.
