Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a client we are collaborating with in Burgess Hill. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design,�demonstrating a strong background in designing control systems, panel design, and instrumentation for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical control panels and systems using industry-standard software such as�Solidworks�Electrical and�AutoCAD�Electrical.


• Create detailed schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout designs.


• Specify and select components to ensure the highest quality and efficiency.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.


• Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.


• Provide technical guidance and�mentorship�to junior engineers.


• Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for all design projects.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering.


• Proficiency in�Solidworks�Electrical,�AutoCAD�Electrical, and other relevant design software.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Education:

• Preferably a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.


• Relevant certifications and professional qualifications will be advantageous.
