Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Washington

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience/qualifications

Involved in various aspects of design and creation of bespoke production line equipment. You will research, analyse, and create real added value in production process.

Whilst challenging, the opportunity and real possibility that your projects could both contribute significantly to the organisation’s knowledge base and be incorporated into live manufacturing processes upon completion are unrivalled.  

What you will be doing: 

• Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) software


• Produce conceptual designs from process definitions. 


• Working in multi-discipline project teams on specific aspects of a project 


• Involved in the build, commissioning, test, and trials of each element. 

What you will bring to the team:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering


• Experience of using CAD/CAM/EDA Software 


• Experienced Electrical Designer


• Knowledge of Automation/Software, Control Systems, PLC coding
