Electrical Design Draughtsman/Woman

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Draughtsman/Woman to join a world-class process and packaging company within Aerosols, Coatings and Pharmaceutical industries.

Electrical Design Draughtsman/Woman - Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the ongoing drawing transition from AutoCAD to EPLAN, working with the rest of the Automation Department to agree on methods of working and drawing standards�


• Generating electrical drawings and panel Layouts, with supporting electrical documentation (Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, Terminal Rail Layouts etc.)�


• Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments�


• Maintain a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project

Electrical Design Draughtsman/Woman - Requirements include:

• In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel 3D is a necessity (Essential)�


• Formal Electrical Engineering Qualification (e.g. apprenticeship) (Essential)�


• An EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE) qualification (Desirable)


• Familiarity with Automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment (Desirable)


• Has worked in a project environment in cross-functional project teams (Desirable)
