The Role



This is an Industrial Controls Electrician/Technician position, to work mainly within the food & beverage electrical installation sector, installing containment, cabling, bespoke control panels & commisioning electrical systems apart of a highly skilled team. 





The natural progression (with intensive training provided) or the successful candidate would already be skilled to carry out PLC software interrogation & small code adjustments, local & remote support for new & existing installation along side our suppliers.

The candidate must be an experienced industrial electrician/Technician, maybe looking to develop to become a supervisor in the future. 



Experience within industrial & commercial electrical installations. 



Experience of testing and fault finding within a process control environment would be an advantage, but not essential. 



Candidates must be dependable, reliable and have a willingness to learn. Must have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. 



Candidates must be able to work to a high standard in terms of quality and health & Safety. 



The candidate will be developed and appraised in the following Key Performance Indicators – Attitude, Culture Fit, Time Keeping , Communication , Use of internal Technology ( Joblogic ) Appearance, Motivation , Forward Thinking & Record Keeping .  



Disireable Qualifications -  



Hold a full UK driving license 



Preferable to have IPAF & ECS card (Training will be provided if needed) 



Preferable to have City & Guild 2391 or equivalent (Training will be provided if needed) As a minimum you must have a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 & 18th edition of BS7671, but training will be provided if needed. 



HNC/HND Qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivilant experiance would be disirable



Nationally recognised PLC, HMI Accredited training courses from the industries leading names - Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, OMRON would also be diserable but not assential - Training to be delivered for the right candidate. 



The Exellent Benefit Details



Benefits: Up to £40,000 - £60,000+ with overtime ( depending on experience ) We would like to base your standard working hours on Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week, however this is normally in excess of 50 hours per week, flexibility is essential on both parts. 



Set paid travel rate.  



28 days annual leave ( inclusive of Bank Holiday’s ) with additional holiday reward after 2 years’ full service, an extra 1 day added to entitlement to a max of 33days including bank holidays. 



This role includes a percentage of away work as discussed. Own hotel room will be provided when working away. 



Accommodation provided and food allowance when working away from home - Living away expenses = £40 subject to income tax. 



Overtime available with expected earning up to 25% of salary. 



clothing will be provided and all PPE with safety footwear to the value of £50. 



18V power tools & standard equipment provided. 



Van will also be provided with fuel card. 



Company phone for work & private use. 



Standard probation of 12 weeks with regular review. 



Work-place pension scheme - employer 3%, employee 5%. 



Full employee health cover after probation period & family cover after 3 years’ service.
