Essential skillset required:
Demonstrable experience of the full engineering lifecycle.
Proven experience in attending FATs (Factory acceptance tests)
Systems calculations, modelling and analysis
Instrumentation and control system theory including PID control, Electrical circuits design, EMC precautions and power supply characteristics
Desirable:
SCADA and BMS system design, eg HVAC, Fire Systems, Pumps, Ventilation
Ideally you'd have either 5+ years experience designing control systems within the railway industry OR 5+ years designing BMS systems in other industries.
