Electrical CAD Engineer/Technician

Our client, an established family-owned business in Leeds, is seeking an Electrical CAD Engineer/Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of ultra-low loss amorphous transformer technology.
The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for producing the 3D arrangements, schematics, BOMs for the protection of our Transformers and working within the Engineering Teams procedural framework to ensure all design requirements are met. Key areas include:
Issuing marshalling & wiring schematics to client specifications
Producing complete arrangements in 3D.
Generation of BOMs for the developed arrangements.
Developing and maintaining component libraries.
Supporting the mechanical engineers where required.
Maintaining standard designs.
