Electrical Approved Electrician

The company

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering group with an annual turnover of over �100 million, who offer specialised electrical solutions to many big-name clients across the UK. After securing several long-term contracts with key customers, the company is seeking an Electrical Approved Engineer to join their team on one of their key client sites in Hartlepool.

The role

The company is looking for an Approved Electrician to install, test and inspect electrical installations on site. This role has a 40 hour week with the opportunity for overtime.

You will take responsibility for:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical systems and associated equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company policies in all electrical tasks
• Promote safety protocols actively to establish a secure work environment and identify potential safety hazards relating to electrical systems
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate electrical work
• Maintain precise records of all electrical installations, repairs and maintenance activities

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• 2391 Test & Inspection certificate
• Proven experience as an electrician
• Good understanding of electrical systems, components and safety purposes
• Full UK Driving License
  

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Level 3 Electrical qualification / completion of an apprenticeship program in Electrical industry
