Inspire Resourcing are working with a well-established and long standing company based in Chesterfield who are looking for an experienced Electrical and instrumentation Shift Technician.

Job Duties:

• Fault finding, diagnosing and carrying out repairs across the site's operation


• Carrying out regular preventative maintenance and managing tasks effectively


• Contributing to root cause analysis


• Conducting electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on 3 phase systems


• Ensure risk assessments have been carried out


• Usage of CMMS systems

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice or Degree Trained (Electrical)


• Experience working in a heavy industrial OR FMCG environment


• Electrical and control systems knowledge


• PLC interrogation (desired)


• DC Motor Maintenance (desired)

Pay and working hours:

• Holidays are built into the rota pattern, working a hybrid 4on 6off rota during autumn and winter, then spring into summer working 4on 4off with two eighteen day breaks.


• 12 hour shifts, starting at 06:00 and 18:00


• Salary – up to £43,106 p/a


• This role is eligible for overtime, paid at time and half Monday to Saturday and Double Time on Sundays.
