We are currently recruiting for aneLearning Administratorto work in the Training & Development Department at Showsec’s head office by the historic New Walk in Leicester City Centre. Conveniently located within walking distance of Leicester train station and the city centre.This is an opportunity for the eLearning Administrator to design and develop educational courses using corresponding authoring tools for full-time, part-time and onboarding candidates. This individual is responsible for the administration and maintenance of eLearning programs and the learning platform which will help to instruct, inform and educate staff across the organisation.What you will be doingResponsible for the analysis, design, and development of eLearning courses and eBriefings including scripting and storyboarding for course materials, activities, and assessments. In the case of larger projects, guiding and collaborating with internal and external team membersUsing Articulate 360 and other relevant software to create and update Showsec’s training materialLiaise as needed with stakeholders to ensure all on-line materials and resources meet the organisations training goals and objectivesTo ensure that all online learning material is tested, quality checked and fit for purpose prior to uploadDevelop and deploy eLearning feedback mechanisms, including analysis and reporting of any outcomesCreate, administer, analyse, and report on end-user progress and results; recommend and integrate training improvement strategies based on findingsTo continually review and update technical infrastructure to deliver eLearning content to its audience on the platform effectivelyTo be a point of contact with our hosting company and IT department for all technical issues relating to the platform and provide feedbackDealing with any technical queries pertaining to eLearning courses and eBriefings and the learning platformWhere necessary, coach and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team on eLearning related activitiesLeading the administrative duties relating to the provision of training for Showsec’s workforceSupporting other departments within the Product Resourcing department as directed by the Training and Development ManagerAny other duties commensurate with the post, as directed by the Training and Development Manager or eLearning Team LeaderWhat Showsec can offer youSalary of £24,160.00 per annum24 days holiday + 8 days public holidayNon-contractual bonus*Additional “holiday payment” equivalent to 2% of annual salary*Royal London pension scheme with excellent employer contributionBUPA medical plan (optional)*A range of valuable medical and practical support services through Help@handCompany laptop*Upon successful completion of probationary periodWhat we need from youAn understanding of Articulate 360 software (Rise and Storyline skills)A background in any of the following areas: Media/Graphic Design/Marketing/eLearningStrong IT skills including Excel and web-based programsForward thinking and confidence to present new ideas to the departmentHighly literate, with excellent writing skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritise efficiently with great time management skillsProblem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communications skills and ability to liaise with different stakeholders at all levels of seniority We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if a suitable candidate is found- so apply early.
