Job Title: Elastic Consultant (SC Cleared)
Location: On-site in London/Edinburgh Areas
Salary/Rate: £600-£700 per day (INSIDE IR35)
Start Date: 2 - 4 weeks after receiving offer

The role:
Working via a boutique consultancy, on-site at a secure government client in London/Edinburgh. You will be acting as the SME for their integration of Elastic products, liaising with the business and Elastic directly.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
Strong customer advocacy, relationship-building, and communications skills
The ability to easily pivot from delivery to strategic engagements with customers
Ownership of the strategic roadmap with the customer, including quarterly strategic sessions with senior and key stakeholders
Solution design, development, and integration of Elastic products and APIs, platform architecture, and capacity planning in mission-critical environments
Required Skills/Experience:
Hands-on experience and an understanding of Elasticsearch and/or Lucene
Experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer
Strong experience working as a Consultant, working to deliver and execute professional service engagements
Currently holding UK security clearance and/or willingness to undergo screening
Experience as a technical instructor or public speaker to large audiences (of engineers, developers, and other technical workers) on enterprise infrastructure software technology
Excel at working directly with customers to gather, prioritise, plan and execute solutions to customer business requirements
Understanding and passion for open-source technology
Proficient in at least one programming language
Understanding of Linux, Java and databases
Hands-on experience with large distributed systems from an architecture and development perspective
Knowledge of information retrieval and/or analytics domain
The nature of the work that you will be doing will require a high percentage of work onsite with customers, and you should be expected to travel as a result of this requirement
