iO Associates have partnered with a leading technology & engineering company working within National Security and Defence consulting, developing novel products that solve real world problems in mission-critical environments.
We are looking to speak to experienced Data Scientists holding active, enhanced DV (UK*C) at all levels who would like to join our client at an exciting time of growth.
The successful candidate will be confident harnessing machine learning & analysing vast quantities of data, as well as skilled in Python or a similar programming language.
In return, you will get the opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative consultancy who aim to solve complex problems within National Security & Defence by harnessing data intelligence.
What you’ll be working on:
Analysing large data sets, identifying patterns, producing useful statistical outputs & furthering the customer’s understanding of the data.
Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including delivery teams, to manage risks and timelines
Support on bids and proposals where needed.
Explaining findings and data analytics to a range of stakeholders.
Leadership of technical teams & ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Skills you will need:
The ability to design and build data platforms.
Data visualisation skills.
At least one programming language e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript
Cloud technologies & DevOps techniques.
Sound knowledge of Machine Learning – developing & maintaining models.
Agile Software Development experience.
Natural Language Processing techniques.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
