Job Title:          Education Intervention HLTA

Location:          Acorn Park School, Norwich

Salary:              £22,000-£27,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

Hours:              37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm

Contract:          Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Education Intervention HLTA to join our close-knit team at Acorn Park School located in Norwich.

About the role

To plan & lead educational interventions specified in pupils EHCPs, including Lego Therapy, DESTY, QT Robot (Emotional Literacy) and Precision Teaching) across the formal and semi formal schools.

To monitor, track and record observations from interventions, ensuring next steps are in place to support the young person.

To report on provisions delivered effectively.

To liaise with our clinical team to ensure that all interventions are complimentary to any targeted or specialist interventions being provided by clinicians.

To ensure pre and post assessments are recorded accurately.

To support class teams with the planning, delivering, and tracking of universal provisions where needed.

To liaise with the Provision Lead on pupil caseloads and workload.

Provide updates and information for ITACs and Annual Reviews.

To support class teams when needed.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrable levels of numeracy and literacy.

Experience of working in a school setting.

Experience of working with pupils with SEND.

Experience of teaching individuals and groups.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Strong ICT skills.

Qualifications required

GCSE English & Maths

TA or HLTA qualification
