Service AreaEducation ServicesGrade: - SO1 - 63,800 - 71,865 or SO2 - 69,754 - 78,577 per annumFull TimeEducation Services are looking for an Education Development Officer (Primary). You will be a member of the Education Improvement Team whose core role is to raise standards and achievement in States maintained schools, specialist educational settings and The Guernsey Institute. 

You will be required to provide advice, support, monitoring and challenge all schools, settings and education services in order to promote self-evaluation and continuous improvement. You will work closely and collaboratively with the all members of the Education Improvement Team on all matters regarding the provision and education of all children and young people. You must have the ability to support and lead on, where required, the implementation of Education, Sport and Culture strategic policy and ‘vision’ and report on the quality of service provided in pre-schools, schools, services and The Guernsey Institute. You will be required to lead on the removal of barriers to achievement; promoting of inclusion, equality and access to the curriculum for all learners, promoting safeguarding and wellbeing of learners and achieve the outcomes of the Education Strategy. 

You will be responsible to the Head of Education Improvement. The Education Development Officer (Primary) is expected to work in a flexible and supportive way with all members of the team and participate in regular reviews of current roles and responsibilities to ensure the best possible service delivery.
