Job DescriptionMonocle is seeking a travel editor to run our coverage in the magazine, deliver stories for our digital newsletters, help with the travel-related books that we produce in conjunction with Thames & Hudson and feed in stories to Monocle Radio. This is a full-time job based at our London HQ.Monocle’s global readership is well-travelled and knowledgeable. They come to Monocle for recommendations that they can trust and for stories about places, projects and people that go beyond the usual travel-page recommendations. It’s a readership that wants to know where the best ryokan is in Hokkaido and the bolthole our editors would pick in Venice – but also what’s happening in the worlds of aviation, hotel design and restaurants. We are read by a large number of people in the industry.We are seeking an editor who can turn in their own clean copy, help writers deliver inspiring reads and who has a global outlook.
