We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our team and help further embed inclusion and equity across all functions of the organisation.
What you will be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion you will provide comprehensive support with the day-to-day work and delivery of the organisations EDI Action Plan. You will be responsible for:
Managing the online EDI learning provision and reporting
Collaborating with the Communications Team and Employee Resource Groups to disseminate EDI updates and create content that helps to mark awareness dates and
Developing and maintaining Forwards EDI communication platforms,
Supporting our Employee Resource Groups to plan and deliver EDI events and campaigns
Working collaboratively with other departments to raise awareness of our services and encourage wider participation and engagement amongst underserved groups
Helping to recruit and coordinate a wider network of EDI Champions to facilitate team and service level engagement in EDI activities
Providing administrative support and actively participating in the EDI Board and ERG Leaders meetings
Analysing diversity data to inform strategic priorities and the development of data-driven EDI interventions.
The role requires a high degree of motivation, initiative and collaboration, including leading projects from conception through to final implementation in-line with the departments longer-term EDI strategies. This is a hybrid role, including some travel for meetings at our Head Office and training and project visits.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with:
Experience of managing cross-organisation equality, diversity and inclusion projects
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Experience of using data to gain insights and develop targeted interventions
Highly self-motivated, with the ability and initiative to work independently and as part of a team
A creative problem-solving approach with the ability to focus on key issues quickly and clearly.
