EDA-S01 - Director of Faculty Operations

Job description
The Faculty of Education and the Arts is looking to appoint a Director of Faculty Operations who will be a key member of the Faculty Management Team, providing strategic management support to the work of the Dean of Faculty and to lead the academic administration of the Faculty. The successful applicant will be expected to represent the Faculty within the University, particularly in relation to Professional Services and all aspects of Faculty administration.
Working closely with the Dean of Faculty, the post holder will take responsibility for budget management, recruitment, resource allocation and the provision of an exceptional student experience. The post requires the skilled management of people and resources and taking significant responsibility for some of the major activities across the Faculty.
As our ideal candidate you will be educated to degree level, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels of the organisation. You will have experience of managing a large office and administrative function, resource planning and management and leadership of staff across a broad range of disciplines.
