Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join one of EU leading retail Groups in home and Garden as their new Ecommerce Director. As a newly created role for the business they are embarking on their digital transformation journey as they move away from traditional marketing channels and print. The brand dominates a large section of their target market across multiple categories and looking for an experienced Multichannel leader to transform and grow their ecom and digital capabilities across UK, Germany and other territories. Essentially bridging this capability across 3 businesses Globally including strategic planning and implementation.
At a glance:
Ecom and Digital ownership to deliver increased traffic, conversion & profitable growth.
Driving business performance by developing and implementing a strong eCommerce and digital marketing strategy Globally
Develop the digital marketing in conjunction with all marketing activities e.g. print activities
Leading local eCommerce teams in the UK and Germany, responsible for website optimisation, digital marketing, content creation and sales optimisation
Creating a commercial web-development platform roadmap
Understanding cross-channel customer journeys and develop digital marketing and onsite activities to serve both hybrid customers
Oversight of eCommerce/digital marketing related budgets, cost and revenue targets
Develop robust measurement, tracking and reporting mechanisms.
Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels
You?
We are looking for a Head of level to ideally step up into the role. We feel this aligns well with the digital roadmap and journey balancing strategic ability and how hands-on they may need to be while implementing the strategy.
Some of the essential experience:
Recent track record
of clear digital growth in the home and garden sector preferred
Multichannel leader with deep knowledge of EU and Uk markets
Skilled at building high performance digital and e-commerce teams
Excellent Digital Marketing knowledge (all channels)
Track record working in a matrix structure, ideally for a large Group
Project management experience with relevant reporting and analysis
Some travel to German HQ (monthly required)
London Hybrid set up
Package DOE £100k - £120k
