Are you passionate about the environment and interested in progressing your experience in the field of ecology? We are currently seeking an Ecologist with Habitats survey experience based in Scotland to join our Biodiversity team, who all share a passion for protecting our wildlife, plant species and habitats. Offer will be made at a level commensurate with experience; Junior/Associate, Senior Associate up to Consultant level is available.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting our efforts in preserving and protecting the natural world. This position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to expand their hands-on experience in ecological research and conservation. You’ll work on a wide range of UK and International Sustainable Infrastructure, Renewables and Low Carbon Energy Transition projects. We have Scottish offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. This role is largely field based with possible short stays (5-10 days) away from home. Why join ERM?

About you
Applicants should be degree qualified in Ecology/Zoology or a related field. You will be familiar with ecology survey guidance and legislation, and have some prior experience undertaking surveys; protected
species/habitats/botanical.
Some experience of habitat (Phase 1, UKHab or NVC) surveys is essential.
You’ll be a member of CIEEM or working towards this, and possess a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
