EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer - CCGT Power Station

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Energy company to recruit an EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer for its site in North London. The EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer role comes with a starting salary of up to £60,000 + private medical + competitive benefits package. If you're an experienced EC&I Engineer with experience on control systems / DCS and are looking for work then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and dutiesReporting directly to the EC&I Team Leader, you will be responsible for:Being the site expert for electrical assets and C&I systemsLeading and supervising a team of EC&I Technicians responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance workManaging and implementing SIL and Cybersecurity procedures.The preparation of technical specifications and execution of site EC&I projects safely and within budgetProviding technical direction to operations and maintenance personnel and identifying areas of improvementsManaging high value maintenance contractsDirecting and supervising on site contractorsEnsuring HSE compliance at all times.Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:A HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.At least 5 years' experience in a heavy process environment/sector (e.g. power station, chemical plant, paper mill, refinery, steel works etc).Ideally an IOSH or NEBOSH or Health & Safety QualificationExperience with ABB AC160, AC450 and 900xa systems would be hugely beneficialPersonal skillsThe EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer role would suit someone who is:Highly motivated with strong analytical thinkingAble to work well alone or within a teamSalary and benefits of the EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer roleUp to £60,000 starting salaryBenefits package that includes private medical, 12% pension contributions and moreOpportunity to join a CCGT Power StationINDPOWAstute Technical Recruitment Limited are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
