Job Advertisement: Early Years Education Lead
Are you passionate about early childhood education and committed to delivering outstanding care and development opportunities for young children? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take the lead in developing and implementing early years education in alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Position: Early Years Education Lead
Location: Leicester�
Salary: Starting at �13.42 per hour without QTS and �14.42 with QTS �
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement early years education programs in accordance with the EYFS requirements�
  • Lead the teaching in all areas of the foundation stage, focussing on helping the children to achieve early learning goals.
  • To lead and support the overall planning, assessment and evaluation of the curriculum and the children in the early years
    setting
  • Ensure that the nursery achieves an 'Outstanding' rating by seeking necessary support and resources.
  • Foster the social and communication skills of children, creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers to enhance support for children's development.
  • Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with the Nursery Manager to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
Requirements:
  • BA (Hons) Early Years or equivelent / QTS�
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
  • In-depth understanding of the EYFS/ SEF framework and its practical application.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Previous childcare experience with age range to 5 years.
  • Previous experience working within a Nursery environment
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
