The School and Role

This large, two-form entry primary school in Woolton, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate Teacher to work in a Reception class with a cohort of 24 children.  The role will be full-time, starting in May and will be ongoing, covering maternity leave.   The school's vision and values are clear in everything that they do and how they operate, and they reflect the core ideology of the school and do not change over time.  The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.  Good behaviour is at the heart of everything the school does.  They prioritise the behaviour of their pupils as they know that good behaviour is fundamental to good learning.  Their staff prioritise good positive behaviour from when the pupils walk in the door at breakfast club from 7.30am until they leave after a busy day of learning.  The expectation is that all pupils should behave well because it is the right thing to do.  They pride themselves on ensuring that they have strong procedures and routines in place across their school so they can be efficient and use their time learning well. 

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
