**Role: Early Years Practitioner**

Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner seeking a long-term role in a Nursery? There is an exciting opportunity that is waiting for you in the Islington area. One of my schools is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to start ASAP. The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted, which caters for all children including those with special educational needs. The staff there ensures that all children are provided with the best education to ensure that they make good progress in their learning.

Qualifications accepted:






  • CACHE Level 3 Diploma

  • BTEC National Diploma in Early Years

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development

  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning

  • NNEB Certificate





The role:  




  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual education 

  • Attend to the children’s needs and engage with the children at all times

  • Able to work with a variety of children that display different needs

  • Assisting with the preparation and clearing up of activities

  • Promote the ethos of the setting at all times

  • Act as a key worker for the children

  • Maintain and uphold all safeguarding policies and procedures

  • Use strategies in liaison with the room leader to support children in their learning

  • Attend weekly staff meetings





Requirements 




  • You must be available 5 days a week as this is a full-time role

  • You must hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service  

  • Be a positive role model

  • Be committed to promoting and enhancing a good understanding of the Children’s Centre and children




  • You must have experience working within a Nursery – either in a mainstream Primary School or Private Nursery
