Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher - Maternity Cover

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required

Are you a dedicated and qualified EYFS teacher seeking an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners' lives? We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at a moderately sized primary school in North Chesterfield for a full-time maternity cover position starting in May 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and contribute to the overall success of the EYFS department.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their educational journey.
  • Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication and partnership in children's learning experiences.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about creating a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
