This is a chance to join a great nursery close to Bermondsey as a Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator. Responsibilities:
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Promote and facilitate strong and communicative relationships with parents, carers and other family members
  • The capability to observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of improvement and tailoring teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain a culture of self-evaluation and self-development to promote continuous learning
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Level 3 or above recognised childcare qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation of knowledge in early childhood education and development.
  • Extensive experience working with children in a nursery setting
  • Strong communication skills to interact with children, their families, and other staff members effectively
  • The ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that stimulate children's cognitive, physical, and social development
  • Knowledge of paediatric health, safety, and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being and security of children in the nursery
  • A positive and enthusiastic outlook on working with children, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere within the nursery
