Salford Family Nurseries Barton Moss Nursery 36 hours and 18 hours available Early Years EducatorGrade: 2AWorking hours: up to 36 hours perweek – Fulltime and part time hours availableContract type: PermanentLocation: Barton Moss NurseryBarton Moss Nursery is one of Salford’s 5fantastic local authority nurseries and are looking for competent, resilientpatient and dedicated early years practitioners. We pride ourselves onlooking after our staff and children. We offer a range of hours and these mayvary depending upon location, but we do ask that you are available to workbetween the hours of 8am and 6pm. Although you are applying for a role atBarton Moss Nurser, on occasions, you may be asked to cover at one of our othersettings located in Belvedere, Higher Broughton, Little Hulton and Winton.We are looking for staff who meet the following criteria:Have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.Have the ability to laugh at jokes, even those that you may not find funnyBe able to be the best at everything you do, for example if you are asked to be a pirate, you will be the best!Be able to sing out of tune and in front of a crowd of eager peopleBe prepared to convincingly pretend to eat playdoughBe content in the fact that our only cup of tea all morning might be a pretend oneHave the ability to read a story, with many different voicesYou must be prepared to have lots of fun during the day. Lots of laughter is a guaranteed outcomeYou must be up for a challenge and able to work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the sameYou need to be resilient, hardworking and a good team player who can build positive relationships with children and families from a wide range of backgroundsYou must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families. You will be expected to promote an inclusiveenvironment that is warm, welcoming and stimulating in order to encourage thedevelopment of children to ensure they reach their full potential. You willImplement the Early Years Foundation Stage and contribute to development ofplans to support the delivery of individual learning programmes for children.You will receive hands on experience and your own skills and experience will bea valuable asset to the team. We do ask that you have a relevant Early YearsQualification at a minimum of Level 3.
