Early Years Deputy Manager

Position Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Our client, a reputable organization in Bramley, Leeds, is actively searching for an enthusiastic Early Years Deputy Manager to join their team. As the Early Years Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education while supporting the overall management of the early years setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the management team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and education in line with regulatory standards.
    • Provide strong leadership and support to the early years team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Operational Oversight:

    • Assist in the day-to-day management of the early years setting, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Curriculum Development:

    • Play a key role in the planning and delivery of a stimulating and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
    • Support the continuous improvement of educational programs based on best practices.
  • Staff Training and Development:

    • Facilitate training sessions for early years staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
    • Mentor and guide team members to maintain high standards of care and education.
  • Parent and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and key stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure a collaborative partnership.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
