The position is a full time role that will be managing the Early Help provision across the Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in the area as well as the Primary Mental Health Workforce (PMHW) who deliver group based interventions that form the first steps of care within our clinical pathway model.The team manager will need to be a transformational leader with the ability to support staff to make decisions, analyse data, and oversee the performance of the team. There will be a strong focus within the role to build relationships with partner agencies and work collaboratively across community agencies to deliver an effective and efficient provision. An understanding of health, education and social care settings would therefore be advantageous.We focus on supporting staff through supervision and training opportunities and have a track record for creating strong cohesive teams where we balance the seriousness of our role with good humour and connection. The Hampshire CAMHS service, like many NHS services nationally is busy and faces challenges, with high demands on our teams. As a Trust we recognize the impact of the nature of our work and prioritise staff wellbeing, providing activities that promote the positive health and wellbeing of our staff such as arts projects and staff development. Educated to degree/ diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
Desirable
Clinical/post graduate management qualification or equivalent level of experience and proven ability to perform at this level
ExperienceEssential
Extensive experience of and demonstrable achievement in managing health/social care services. Management of resources and good track record with change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans. Experience of modernising services without additional resources. Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders in the redesign of services. Experience of project management and imaginative planning. Experience of managing a diverse practitioner team (multi site). Measurable track record in involving and motivating staff to improve performance.
