Role: Early Careers Teacher

Location: Bournemouth and Christchurch

Salary: Competitive (based on the teacher scale - MPS/UPS)

Start Date: Immediate start and September starts available

Are you a passionate newly qualified teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity within a school, where you can put your training into practice?

GSL Education are seeking ECTs who are searching for teaching roles within the Bournemouth and Christchurch area. Perhaps you are ready for an immediate start where you can provide a school with supply or cover teaching, or you are looking for a permanent role in September to kickstart your teaching career. Our schools can offer you experience and support in your new desired role!

Requirements:

• Teaching Certification (QTS/PGCE)

• In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for teaching children

• Ability to plan engaging and inclusive lesson plans

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles

• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration

• Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere

• Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices

• Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks

  • Ability to teach Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students efficiently.
