Early Careers, Schools & Degree Apprenticeship Recruiter.
Role Purpose
Our client HSBC is currently seeking an Early Careers recruiter to join their team working from their offices in Sheffield with some travel and overnight stays to Birmingham and London required, this contract will initially be for 12 months. This is a 360-recruiter role with attraction built in.
To work with the business to design, manage and execute School’s recruitment and attraction strategy for Degree Apprentice hires into Digital Business Services (DBS) Technology roles in Sheffield.
To manage and deliver schools events and recruitment activities.
Manage the wider Early Careers Recruitment team in Sheffield.
Experience / Qualifications
Proven experience
of Graduate and Degree Apprenticeship recruitment
Proven recruitment and marketing experience for a school’s audience (ideally within a global Financial Services or Professional Services environment) for Technology roles
Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience of HR systems / databases / Applicant Tracking Systems
Responsibilities
Execute the school’s recruitment and attraction approach.
Build relationships with ‘on programme’ Degree Apprenticeship cohort.
Oversee active relationships and knowledge base with defined target schools.
Ensure cross-business activity is developed and a partnership approach with fellow Schools recruiters from UK Ringfenced Bank in Birmingham in order to present a united approach at schools’ events.
Build ongoing, year-round relationships with Schools, Colleges and 3rd parties to effectively plan and execute all schools’ events logistics.
Regularly attend schools’ events across the UK
Regularly attend networking seminars to keep abreast of industry developments / competitor activity and share learning with team and stakeholders.
Oversee sourcing of business representatives for all events
