About the role

Connex Education are working with the majority of the Primary schools within the Nottingham area on a number of cover roles for the Summer term and extending to the next academic year.

As a successful Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will enjoy working EYFS up to Year 6 and are able to work flexibly amongst different schools on a day to day and weekly basis.  Within the schools that Connex exclusively work with, currently there is a huge demand for teachers to facilitate learning, deliver engaging and exciting lessons and be able to use your own initiative alongside the planning already put in place.

The schools in question offer a supportive and inclusive environment where students are given the tools to flourish and reach their full potential.

For the right candidate, many of our placements have the potential to extend to cover the term or the rest of the academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Person Specification


  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service or willingness to apply for one
