E-Discovery Team Manager - International Law Firm - Leeds Taylor Root have partnered with a leading international law firm in their search for a Qualified Solicitor to join their LDC as an E-Discovery Team Manager. This role is being offered on a permanent or contractual basis (6 months) and will be based in the firms Leeds office.The Firm Our client is a leading international law firm who have a global client base providing support on legal issues across various different practice areas. They are prominent in transactional, litigation and regulatory practice areasThe TeamThe Electronic Data Management (EDM) team is apart of many teams withing the LDC. It supports the firm by undertaking document review utilising RelativityOne, often involving large scale reviews and form part of larger engagement, often involving litigation, regulatory investigations or other document production request.The Role You main responsibility within the EDM (E-Discovery) team will be overseeing day to day activities, supporting (and supplementing) the work of the Paralegals in delivering quality service, and ensuring the team deliver internal and external client requirements. Further responsibilities include:Managing the expectations of those providing the instructions, including tracking progress, anticipating and highlighting resourcing issues and ensuring we provide sufficient and timely updates;Line Management responsibility for the team;Acting as the initial point of contact in connection with any issues and escalating as necessary;Ensuring robust checks and quality controls are in place;Identifying training needs and providing coaching to ensure the team are able to meet expectations;Ensuring the playbooks are comprehensive and kept up to date;Assessing opportunities to improve operational processes, documentation and training;Conducting performance reviews in accordance with line management responsibility.The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 1 year PQE. You will also have a minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in E-discover/Disclosure and document production experience, ideally with Relativity.
