Duty Manager

We are looking for an Duty Manager for our bars at Pop Brixton that is enthusiastic and dedicated to join our team!
You will have at least 1 years worth of bartending experience in a high volume, busy environment and enjoy chatting with customers. You are clean, quick and a true team player but can handle yourself if you ever need to go at it alone. The team are fun, dynamic, all-inclusive and hard working, and we're looking for a few new players to join our team. Duties include but are not at all limited to:
Managing the venue operations, including bar staff, cleaners and security
Ensuring all payments are being take correctly by bar team and reconciling it daily
Pouring pints, mixing spirits and mixers. Must be well versed in Cocktail making
Setting up and closing the venue
Provide excellent customer service
Apply responsible alcohol management awareness and ensure all customers too intoxicated to serve are pointed out to a member of senior management
Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
Supervise team members in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary.
Report team strengths and weaknesses to management.
Motivate, guide, and mentor team members to exceed goals and create a positive environment during shifts.
Strictly adhere to deadlines by communicating expectations to team. members, setting goals, motivating team members, and disciplining where necessary.
Connect with customers and develop strong relationships to encourage customer loyalty.
