Position Overview

Montcalm Collection - Royal London House are looking for a skilled and ambitious Duty Manager to join our team.
Help to shape the Montcalm Collections next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.

Key Responsibilities

Duty Manager is in charge of a hotel's daily operations. His/her job is to guarantee optimum guest relations concurrent with managing and supervising departmental managers and staff members. The duties of a duty manager includesmooth operation, security and monitoring of the hotel.A natural leader and an organiser; you must also be able to communicate on all levels.
Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Hotel.
Guarantee optimum guest relations concurrent with managing and supervising departmental managers and staff members.
Ensuring security and monitoring of the hotel.
Be able to communicate on all levels.
Attend necessary meetings and conduct meetings with the team.
Checking on standards of services, and cleanliness, greeting and assisting in the check in of guests and escorting VIP guest to the room.
To constantly strive to please all guests that he may come into contact with.
Being responsible that employees project professionalism and are well trained and provide friendly and efficient service.
Ensure that corporate, divisional and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all levels.
Duty Manager liaise closely with other departments and emphasizes on excellent inter-departmental relations considering other departmental procedures and policies.
Delegate authority and responsibilities to direct subordinates without relinquish ultimate responsibility for the operation.

Requirements and skills Experience in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple data sources is preferred.

Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to work closely with team members and managers, and effectively manage problems as they occur.
Excellent Stakeholder management skills:ability to communicate well at different levels, provide guidance, offer explanation, and prepare briefs.
Organization and time management:Managing the daily activities and needs of an entire team requires an excellent ability to multitask and effectively manage your time.
Positive attitude:Generally, a positive outlook makes it easier to handle the stress of unexpected challenges and helps the entire team stay positive and motivated.
Knowledge of Opera
Experience in managing a team at a supervisory or managerial level
Previous experience in a 5* environment preferred
Knowledge of using Fourth and Harri preferred
