About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join our Front Office team at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
To tidy the luggage area and Concierge desk as required.
To assist with any transportation requests or handover to the day concierge team
To man the Telephone main switchboard as and when required.
To ensure all requests are the Concierge desk are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
To assist in the Security of the hotel by reporting any suspicious persons or happenings to the Night Manager.
To ensure a proper handover is prepared for the morning shift.
To deliver extra beds, turndown beds and clean rooms as requested by Night Manager.
To prepare the Banqueting Boards and assist in directing guests to functions.
To deliver / collect any Room Service orders to guest bedrooms
Is fully aware of his/ her work schedule and ensures adequate notice is given with circumstances when he/ she is prevented from adhering to the schedule.
Reports any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons or safety hazards immediately.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Extensive experience in hospitality management, preferably within a luxury hotel setting in London.
Proven track record of effectively managing hotel operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with guests, colleagues, and management.
Proficiency in hotel management software and systems to oversee reservations, check-ins, and guest services efficiently.
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance within the hotel premises.
