Position: Dual Registered Manager - Childrens Homes

Location: South London (Wimbledon & Morden)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: �65,000 per annum + bonus



Are you a dedicated and experienced leader seeking a new challenge in the field of children's residential care? We're looking for a passionate Dual Registered Manager to oversee two exceptional homes in South London. The first home is a 2-bed property (solo placement home), the second is a large impressive property for 3 young people. The homes are 10 minutes away from eachother.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Assume overall responsibility for the effective management and operation of two children's homes located in Wimbledon and Morden.

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services in line with regulatory standards and best practice.

  • Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.

  • Develop and implement individual care plans for young residents, tailored to their unique needs and aspirations, and ensure these are reviewed and updated regularly.

  • Maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, and support agencies, to ensure collaborative working and positive outcomes for young people.

  • Oversee the financial management and budgetary control of the homes, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of residents and achieve organisational objectives.



Requirements:




  • Substantial experience working within children's residential care settings, with a proven track record of effective leadership and management.

  • Dual registration with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., Ofsted), demonstrating compliance with statutory requirements and standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with young people, staff, and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to challenges.

  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people, coupled with a commitment to promoting their well-being and development.
