11-18 SEMH Provision located in the London Borough of Bexley is looking for an MPS or UPS experienced DT Food Technology Teacher / DT Teacher who is passionate about teaching children with behavioural SEN.  This is a full time permanent appointment to commence in September 2024.

The ideal DT Food Technology Teacher / DT Teacher will have experience teaching students at KS3 & KS4 with a range of complex needs, including SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities, as well as experience working with EHCPs.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching DT Food Technology and Design & Technology
• Experience working with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities
• Experience working with EHCPs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in DT Food Technology
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students
• Assess and monitor students' progress
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Able to offer engaging lessons to  students with behavioural complexities and complex needs.
• You live in easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Bexley.
