Role Overview: As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, evaluating, and supporting learning and development initiatives for our driver team. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance, health and safety, and customer service excellence are upheld at all times.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Identify the training and development needs of drivers.
Design and deliver learning paths, collaborating with key stakeholders, including the L&D team, to ensure consistency in training.
Monitor training metrics to ensure compliance.
Design, implement, and review driving assessments for recruitment purposes.
Plan and review new driver induction training in collaboration with the L&D team.
Update and brief drivers on Safe Working Practice processes and associated documents, including the use of the PDA system.
Perform initial and annual driver assessments.
Conduct health and safety training, including loading, deliveries, refueling, and tail lift operation.
Coach Driver Team Leaders and Senior Drivers as needed.
