Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students in Primary and Secondary education levels
Foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and develop students' confidence through drama techniques
Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement a well-rounded performing arts curriculum
Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Organize and direct school performances, showcasing students' talents and achievements
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting equality and diversity
Liaise with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching Drama in a school setting
Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and contemporary performance practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for drama education and the empowerment it can bring to students
Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction to meet students' individual needs
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
