Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a small multidiscipline Consultancy in Edinburgh. Our client is looking for a Drainage and Flood risk Engineer to join the flood and water management team.Our client are looking for an experienced engineer to come into an existing drainage and flood team to work on local authority and transportation projects. This multidisciplinary consultancy offers fantastic flexible working for all engineers to give them the work life balance they need. A successful engineer will have the ability to promote to senior with good performance as they like to promote within rather than recruit above. Their team works on flood risk assessments and flood risk projects which will integrate drainage design and SUDS designs for public realm schemesWorking on a spectrum of drainage strategiesDrainage design and review of existing networksProduce flood risk assessmentsAssisting in SUDs design from concept through to implementationDrainage detail design including specification and schedulesStakeholder engagementSeek to add value on all works and knowledge sharingEnsure quality controlAssist in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new worksAnalysing problems and developing innovative solutionsThe ideal candidate will haveA degree in Civil or Structural engineeringMinimum of 3 years experience with drainage and SUDs designSoftware experience with Microdraiange, Civil 3D and Info DrainageHave experienced producing Flood risk AssessmentsOrganised and ability to meet deadlinesBenefitsCompetitive salary packageHybrid / Remote working when needed 25 days Annual leave + Bank holidaysExtensive training and developmentYearly professional membershipThis is a fantastic opportunity to work for a small multidisciplinary design with the ability to gain exposure on a wide range of projects.
