Position: Downtime Controller

Location: Solihull, Birmingham

Job Type: Permanent

Our client, a global market leader in fleet management services, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Downtime Controller to join their growing team.

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role, you will be responsible for providing updates and progression for VOR (Vehicle off Road) situations.

Other responsibilities include:

• Manage in flight repair jobs within the masterserve and dealership networks
• Liaise with manufacturers on repairs where technical assistance is needed.
• Raise and manage manufacturer loss of use claims / replacement vehicle requests
• Take incoming calls relating to VOR from customers, suppliers and manufacturers.

Experience or Qualifications –

• Previous experience liaising with dealerships and garage to provide updates
• Ability to understand diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read service and repair manuals, work orders and understand concerns
• Proactive, organized approach to multitasking and prioritization

Candidates who currently are a Downtime Controller, Vehicle Controller or Fleet Controller would be suitable for this position.
