Domestic Gas Supervisor

Your new company Our client provide integrated asset management for housing associations and local authorities, focusing on improving the living conditions of residents and leaving a lasting legacy in the communities they serve. Their services include, responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliance services and planned maintenance works.Your new role As Gas Supervisor you will oversee the work of engineers carrying out repair & breakdown works within domestic properties, as well as some on-tools work to support the service. Key duties will include:Preparing programmes of workSupervising engineersManaging operational delivery with agreed budgetsEnsuring objectives and targets are metEnsure compliance with company health, safety & welfare policies and employment legislationsDeveloping excellent relationships with client representatives, residents and stakeholdersWorking on the tools as required to complete repair and breakdown worksWhat you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience as a qualified gas engineering, with excellent knowledge and understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates, you'll have previous significant technical knowledge of repairs and maintenance in social housing sector and ideally hold, or be willing to work towards, an SMSTS cert.The successful candidate will have excellent time management, good IT skills with a range of IT packages and will be proactive and flexible. With good planning, organisational and influencing skills, you'll have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, whilst ensuring best practise prevails throughout the project, delivering effective interaction to all clients.Essential qualifications & experienceGas SafeACS qualifiedFull UK driving licenseExtensive experience in domestic gas servicing, breakdowns and repairsWhat you'll get in return When successful in securing this role you will receive a permanent contract with a large, well-established contractor.
