Domestic Gas Engineer

Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer for a Wiltshire based company. Applicants would be required to oversee a number of current contracts across the Wiltshire and surrounding counties.

Hours - Monday to Friday 40 hour working week

Salary -��35,000- �40,000 �

Role:

• Performing breakdown, service, and maintenance duties on diverse domestic and commercial heating systems as well as hot water systems.


• Completing minor installation tasks for HVAC systems, troubleshooting problems, and implementing required corrective measures.


• Executing scheduled preventive maintenance on a range of gas appliances, heating systems, and hot/cold water systems.


• Identifying issues in gas boilers, heating systems, and water systems through diagnostic procedures and carrying out efficient repairs.


• Promptly addressing emergency gas leaks to ensure swift containment and safety assurance. Current Call out rota 1 in 4.

Requirements:

• CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1


• Gas Certifications.


• OFTEC accreditation, including OFT10-101, OFT10-105E, OFT10-600a (preferred).


• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant Mechanical discipline or equivalent practical experience.


• Completion of recognised Health & Safety training.


• Capability to undergo and pass DBS/Police background checks (potentially necessary in the future.
