Document Controller - Required to join a Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering firm in their office in Basingstoke. This client offer a diverse range of engineering design assessment and project management with a pedigree of providing high quality, cost effective solutions throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will have experience in management document systems and also have experience in the Civils/Construction Industry. The successful candidate will have experience using ProjectWise.

Document Controller Position Remuneration

  • Salary: �30k - �40k

Document Controller Position Overview

  • Collecting and registering documents such as drawings, reports and specifications in the company's system.
  • Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements.
  • Compiling and issue Construction information (Drawings, Specifications, Remediation and / or Earthworks Strategies).
  • Responsible for collation of technical, Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental records as well as permits, consents and licences.
  • Numbering and labelling documents for identification and reference.
  • Filing and archiving documentation. Archiving site records upon a site completion.
  • Provide information for PQQ submissions.
  • Managing information received from our appointed designers and our suppliers.
  • Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents.
  • Managing information received from Clients or their representatives.
  • Ensuring documents are reviewed and updated as required by the appropriate document owner.

Document Controller Position Requirements

  • Proficient in document management software i.e., ProjectWise, 4projects and Microsoft Office, Excel & Word.
  • Construction/Civils Industry experience.
  • Industry-specific technical knowledge would be an advantage including understanding of industry terms and processes.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
