Divisional Systems Manager

A opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Systems Manager to join the team at Galliford Try.
You will undertake the role of the Divisional Systems Manager for Viewpoint for Projects, to support the development of the companywide SharePoint based Project Workspace that will replace all the local drives. The role will be focused on supporting the business in the use of Viewpoint for Project as well as the detail development, rollout, training and management of the new Project Workspace, along with the interfaces to other digital tools managed by the Technical Services team.
The other digital tools will include the Digital Workforce Management tool (MSite), FastDraft Contract Management, Field View and Dalux.
What you will be doing:
Management of the Viewpoint for Projects Enterprise and providing training and support to the Business Unit Systems Managers
Ongoing VfP system development in line with industry standards and Client requirements
Engagement with Trimble on system updates and development of our CDE requirements
Provide support and communicate to the Document Controllers and or Site Admins on any updates or changes to the system and / or templates
Assisting BU teams in working to the most effective and consistent use of the Viewpoint for Projects system
Supporting development of and presenting best practice training workshops
Working with IT and external partners in the development of the new SharePoint based Project Workspace, including the detail configuration and testing of the system, development of standard templates, aligning to business processes, setting up test projects, creating user guidance and providing training and support to the BU teams.
Assisting with the management of the Digital Workforce Management tool MSite set up and configuration across the business.
Working with the Divisional Technical Team to support the cross functional development and cascade of our systems with engagement across the business units
Working and supporting Business Unit teams in streamlining their project delivery requirements across Viewpoint for Projects, Field View and MSite
Working with project teams to drive compliance with the BMS Information Management procedures at all project stages
Working with Quality Team and audit projects regularly and raise relevant NCR's
Offer suggestions on any system improvements across the divisional tools
Support the production of quarterly project Audit reports to the Technical Services Director
Support the development of new processes, forms and guidance for the BMS
About You:
Full knowledge and extensive experience of using all functions of the Viewpoint for Projects workspace at operational level and to be able to provide Enterprise level technical support
Good knowledge of SharePoint along with Office365 software, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi
Understanding of the principles of data management and reporting
Knowledge of BIM principles and ISO19650 standard
Knowledge and understanding of the Design Management process
Knowledge and understanding of the Document Control process
An excellent level of experience of QA systems
Knowledge and understanding of industry digital systems.
Knowledge and understanding of the BMS.
Ability to prioritise workload when managing multiple projects / tasks
Ability to be flexible across multiple aspects of the Technical Services team projects and systems development.
