My client, a well-regarded law firm, with an exceptional reputation, in London and globally is currently recruiting for a Diversity and Inclusion Assistant to join their busy HR team on a permanent basis.
The Diversity and Inclusion Assistant will be involved with various D&I work, supporting events and the overall networks and initiatives for the London and global offices. Working closely with the Head if DE&I and the wider team with all Diversity and Inclusion matters.
Duties will include:
Manage administrative and programme support related to internal and external diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives for the London office.
Organise and attend office committee, working group and DEI council meetings as necessary and prepare agendas and summaries for circulation at the direction of the wider team.
Administer the various logistics for internal workshops/training, programme events and meetings, including but not limited to, drafting invitations, office communications, room bookings, catering, audio-visual reservations, marketing and promotion of offerings such as trainings, workshops and special events.
Support the Head of DE&I in completing diversity related statistical and qualitative information for firm-wide reports, RFPs, committee meetings and other requests as needed, liaising with the human resources department on necessary data and historical materials.
Support the wider team with data collection for external benchmarks, accreditations, award submissions and indices such as, the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index, the Social Mobility Foundation index and the Disability Confident Employer scheme.
Assist with research for projects and programming, including staying abreast of activity and trends within the legal market relating to DEI and reporting back to the wider team.
Assist with ad-hoc requests and project work.
The Diversity and Inclusion Assistant will have some D&I/HR/L&D experience, ideally in a law firm or similar corporate environment. You will have a genuine interest in Diversity and Inclusion, along with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbally. The right candidate will be conscientious and personable with a proactive attitude. They will be confident, professional and driven.
