Distribution Scheduler

Your new company
You will be working for a world-leading Industrial Gas company based in Worcester. The business is experiencing a period of growth and requires a distribution scheduler to join the team.
Your new role
The role will be part of a dynamic Planning and Scheduling Team where you will oversee the efficient routing of the delivery fleet, optimising cost-effective routes within agreed service levels. You will work closely with order management and technical service teams to find solutions for emergency requirements. Your role will involve effective management of driver hours, resource allocation, adherence to regulations, and vehicle maintenance compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a logical problem solver with strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities. Preferably 1 years Supply Chain experience although scheduling experience is not essential as training and development will be part of the role. The company is looking for an individual that is motivated, with a self-starting attitude and the desire to take on a new challenge and build a career.
What you'll get in return
In this role you will receive a permanent contract alongside an annual salary of �32,000- �35,000 DOE. The working arrangements will be Sunday-Thursday - 9am to 5pm (shift payment on top of base salary) with a hybrid set up (2 days a week in the office and 3 at home). There will be an occasional requirement to work overtime.
