Senior Reserving Manager STGDo you want to work as part of a team who are developing innovative general insurance reserving systems for the market?Are you interested in model development and improving reserving processes?This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced insurance practitioner to join a collaborative, friendly, dynamic working environment, with the opportunity to work with a ground breaking modelling platform and high-profile clients.It is a hybrid role that can offer flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office 1-2 days a week.Aon is in the business of better decisions At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeAs a senior member of our team you will play a vital role in meeting the expectations of our clients through leading and managing teams of Consultants who are delivering high quality cutting-edge reserving solutions and projects using our proprietary software, Tyche.Day to day activities will include:Working with the Technology Head of Reserving to define and execute implementation strategies to achieve group objectivesOverseeing client implementations of the Tyche Reserving SystemManaging relationships with new clients and implementation partners to provide key leadership and oversight of client implementationsActively engaging with new clients and implementation partners on scoping, including providing resource estimates that represent the level of effort required to successfully deliver the projectsSupporting the sales process through overseeing proof of concept exercises and trialsManaging and overseeing development work from a technical business perspectiveLeading a team of actuarial consulting developers, with a focus on promoting understanding, ownership, and career development whilst embracing a diverse and inclusive cultureHow this opportunity is differentSTG is Aon’s new global consulting and technology business focused on, but not limited to, insurance and reinsurance companies and other participants in the insurance industry. Our objective is that our clients will be able to run their entire reserving process in one end-to-end reserving system in Tyche.Skills and experience that will lead to successGeneral insurance reserving experience of 4+ years ideally, and demonstrated ability across reserving, capital modelling or pricingGood communicator with the ability to adapt to suit different audiences, and good at building relationshipsExperience of leading all aspects of the delivery of and/or developing actuarial toolsTeam and line management experienceAbility to work under pressure: proactive, shows resolve and adapts to evolving situationsA self-motivated team player that works collaborativelyExcellent organisational skillsHow we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
