Director Project Control

Project and Context:
Assystem proudly supports the Large Nuclear Power Plant (LNPP) Program in Saudi Arabia, led by DNEC (Duwayhin Nuclear Energy Company). Under the Project Management Services (PMS) framework, we oversee vital aspects like project management, contract, procurement, vendor selection, licensing, design documentation review, and construction supervision.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
Manage an integrated project control plan for the NPP and its infrastructure.
Lead a team consisting of scheduler manager, reporting manager, cost manager, and risk manager.
Oversee project control scope and processes.
Conduct planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, risk management, and reporting.
Establish operational policies and provide consultation.
Address contractual issues and maintain project control tools.
Review processes and coordinate progress reports.
Requirements:
To succeed, you need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Extensive experience in project controls in
Engineering/ EPC/ Energy projects (at least 20 years of experience)
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Initiative, results-driven approach, and leadership qualities.
High safety culture and working knowledge of international standards.
Proficiency in MS Office and planning software.
Fluency in English (C1/Advanced level); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
