Director of Technical Delivery & Software Engineering
Synchro is working closely with a large household name client of ours, and we are hiring for a Senior and highly experienced Director of Technical Delivery & Software Engineering to lead large Delivery and Engineering teams as part of a large-scale technology refresh and change programme.
This role requires an experienced leader, with experience of building and leading large technical teams within a technology driven, fast-paced organisation. You will have broad exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and have a played a key role in large digital transformation programmes, including leading software engineering capability.
You will create, manage and own a Delivery & Software Engineering strategy and drive a strong culture of continuous improvement and continually improve the quality and reliability of technology delivery by ensuring strong technical challenge of our external delivery partners.
You will manage both internal employees as well as partner / consultant resource.
Who You Are
senior and experienced leader with exposure across the management of both Delivery & Software Engineering teams.
Agile knowledge with exposure of both Project Management (waterfall) and Delivery Management (agile) delivery
thorough working knowledge of leading large scale digital transformation.
experience of managing large teams, including both internal and external resource.
previously held budget responsibility of £100m+.

Salary:
£140,000 - £180,000 base salary + excellent bonus, LTIP, healthcare, car (or car allowance)
Location:
Central London – Hybrid working with 2-3 days on-site
